Carolina Beach has a very lively business district, with a wholesome family environment. The Boardwalk offers much in the form of restaurants, arcades and even bumper cars at the amusement park. Fresh, locally caught seafood is always plentiful, and available at all of our restaurants. 

Whether you like to swim, sail,fish,hike a scenic trail or visit the local attractions, Carolina Beach is your destination. We have 3 professionally designed Signature Golf Courses for all of our golf enthusiasts. 

One of our favorite spots is Britt’s, a 70 year old boardwalk tradition, which offers hot glazed donuts. Grab some to go and head over to the Carolina Beach Fishing Center and Marina and charter a captain for deep-sea fishing.  

Paddleboats are also great family activitie at the Carolina Beach Lake Park. Giving you a dramatic view of the area while enjoying yourselves on the water. 

At the North Carolina Aquarium, you can watch a shark swim right before your eyes! This facility houses a 235,000 gallon saltwater tank! 

For the history buffs among you, nose around the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Civil War Museum. 

Visit any of the fine food establishments on the island, or a festival like the Chowder Cook Off. At night hit the boardwalk for the “Hot Buttered Fudge” or dance the night away at the WinnerBoat Moonlight Dance Cruise.
